FOXBORO, MASS. 7/1/08 – Pathfinder Solutions is pleased to announce the release of their latest version of the PathMATE Modeling Environment, version 7.1.0. The release offers customers many new features, including updates to PathMATE licensing, the Transformation Engine, and numerous Transformation Map enhancements. 

“In addition to a number of developmental improvements, the latest edition of PathMATE version 7.1.0 simplifies the installation and licensing capabilities to streamline the setup experience,” says Carolyn Duby, a senior Pathfinder technical expert. PathMATE licenses are now managed with Reprise License Manager, providing for more flexibility with licenses.  

Among the features added to better document generation from support non-MDA models, the PathMATE engine has been upgraded to extract package hierarchies for support diagrams, providing for better organization of Rational Software Developer models and more structure to custom generated documents. 

In the Transformation Maps, the SoftwareMechanisms domain has a new service called GetFineGrainedTime that returns the current time as a fine grained time. The FineGrainedTime also interprets integers as milliseconds and reals as milliseconds.nanoseconds to improve compatibility with existing action language. 

PathMATE version 7.1.0 also offers users extended capabilities for automating builds, improved documentation generation, and enhanced extraction capabilities for Rose and RSD models.
